If A is a subset of B, prove that (C\B) is a subset of (C\A). Either prove the converse or give a counter example.

Suppose x is in C\B. Then x is in C, and x is not in B. Since x is not in B and A is a subset of B, x is not in A. So x is in C, and x is not in A, so x is in C\A.

So C\B is a subset of C\A.
