Sounds to me like you already got rid of her. Just stop talking to her - not all at once, of course, gradually fade her out of your life, like I'm about to slowly eat lunch, bite by bite.

I don't think it's necessary to get rid of her. It's compeletly normal to grow apart as your interest and life changes. All the friends I've grown apart from whenever I do see them we just have simple conversation. We both know that we've changed and there is no hard feelings on either side. We just accept the change and still are friendly to each other when we cross paths.
