(sigh) Another anti-white racist question.....
Whites don't "fear" blacks they are just conscious of black people's propensity for crime and violence and act accordingly.

From what I can tell the only caucasians who fear black people are those that live in areas where there are no minorities. It's not unusual to fear what you don't know. Once people have a chance to get to know those of other races, the fear goes away.

I don't think I've ever "feared" black people... But you know what I have noticed, in the news everywhere I see races like this: Hispanics, African Americans, and Whites... Whats up with that? Im half white and half Hispanic, but why is it okay to call Caucasians whites, and others blacks? Whats up with colors?

Sometimes. But sometimes, it is the other way around. Once, I won free tickets to a B5 concert (all black boys) and when me and my friends got there, we knew something was up. We were the only Caucasian people. I am not even exagerating! Everyone there treated us like we were repulsive; one girl moved away from us b/c she thought we were weired. Everyone was giving me rude faces and it really ticked me off.

I don't know that white people ever "feared" black people. I do know that white people thought themselves to be better than black people and that white people do not understand the black culture but none of those things are related to fear.

Yes! We have done a very poor job of educating both groups. We only touched the surface when we tried to deal with this in the 60's. There's a lot more work to be done.

It's not fear of black people, it's fear of the "gangsta" and "ghetto" mentality of black youth.
