As far as I know there isn't one.
I suppose we could give it one though. How about Amanda, Bob, David or Eugene? If I had to choose I think it would be something a little more obscure like 'Envelope'.

A palindrome is a word that reads the same backwards and forwards like ewe,noon,boob....i dont know what its called when a word starts and ends with the same letter ,such as edge or barb.

It is NOT a palindrome. A palindrome is a word that is spelled the same forwards and backwards, like Hannah. I don't know if there is a word for a word that just begins and ends with the same letter.
