well, don't do it by eating fatty foods such as chips, candy, etc. the right way to gain weight is by eating red meats and foods that are high in starches and carbohydrates, but make sure that you are also exercising while doing this, in order for the nutrients to be used in a healthy way (if you don't, the weight will be added to unwelcome places, like the hips, buttocks, thighs, abdomen, etc.)

Some people were just meant to be small, & thats okay. Still eating a bit more protein like meat & eggs, feed the muscles a bit more. Few extra carbs. Potatoes are good & bread products. Whole wheat & ryes, particularily. You are lucky most people have the other problem.

Try eating as much as possible (of course) and supplement your calorie intake with health drinks like Ensure® & others which have high-calories. Get them at the drug store over-the-counter. Also ask the pharmacist about this. He/she will offer you all the items available and can give you some tips as well. Good luck.

My advice is to lift weights. Keep eating healthy foods, because they keep you healthy. Don't go out and eat big macs everyday...even though you are skinny does not make you immune to heart disease and other bad things! SO gaining muscle is the best thing to do . You can also go to GNC or a store similar and get some weight gainers....I don't know too much about them, but someone at the store will be able to help you out!
