I would bet my life there were not any hippies in the open. They would have been punished for their beliefs. I don't know for sure, but I think there were NO HIPPIES, those people weren't allowed to think for themselves. And most likely, they had no TV contact with our US hippies, so they probably did not even know what a hippie was.
