a normal cd is the flat acrilic square. a digipack is either card or shinney paper that is kind of like an envelope. most nine inch nails albums are like this.

Digipack is a heavy paper gatefold (book) with a plastic tray for the CD or DVD.

I think it's one of those fold-out, card CD cases, rather than your normal plastic case.... don't know why a 'digipack' though...

A digipak is basically your case and sleeve rolled into one. The case is made out of cardboard or very heavy paper and folded like a book with the cd holder glued to the paper. It's like the DVD cases made out of cardboard instead of plastic.
