Sadly, this was done previously by Aerosmith and Run DMC with 'Walk this way'.
The beauty of rock is it s different incarnations over the decades, with each sound influencing the next. I don't think you can have a greatest rock band ever, as there will soon be a new breed of bands which will also make you feel the same way, but that won't make them any better than those that you love now. Embrace all rock and roll, you ll be surprised!

I LOVE Linkin Park. "Meteora" is one of the best rock albums ever made. If you think about it, I can't come up with too many other bands that have tried LP's style of music; but I've heard some copycats and it just doesn't compare to the genuine article.

I like how they have both rock and hip-hop elements in their music. However, I wouldn't say that that makes them the best rock band ever. But then again, everyone has different tastes!

Maybe in your opinion, but not mine. They are up at the top of my list though...their music is effing awesome! Gotta rock out sometimes!

YUP!!!!! they're awesome!!!!! there's also other one's which i like also but they r awesome!!! they were my favourtie rock band 4 a while but then i heard other one's and they became my 1 favourites!! but they rock!!

I think they rock since they are great to listen to when I get upset or when I need a pick-me-up tune. They are AWSOME!!!
