1) Grandma: Obsessive complusive bipolar psychotic gossip with way too much time on her hads(I think she has 2 more disorders, but I don't know the proper terminology and I don't like guessing at those sort of things, as they are very serious).
2) Aunt: Very similar but with a much darker past and therefore more inventive regarding tall tales to accuse myself, my wife, or my 2 year old son of. She also has a very 'demonic' neice she has taken into her home(as per descriptors used by people who have met her, which are few in number), and enjoys spitting hateful accusations at people to help herself feel better about her own failings(much like Grandma, but more severe).
I need to know a preferably no-cost method of legally disowning these two hazards to a comfortable life. My wife and I are happy together and our son is being raised in a very loving home(lots of affection!), so we clearly don't need intrusions by these two into our life by any means or result.

You can't disown someone who is not dependent on you for something. If you want a legal way to keep them away from you, you could try to take out a restraining order, but if you are not at risk of harm from them, I don't know what purpose that would have because the cops wouldn't enforce it.

Have you told them to stay away from you in very clear cut terms? But if you think your relatives were gossiping about you before, you better believe they will be after you do either of these things. Now if they slander you and you can prove it, then you might have legal recourse against them. Start carrying around a pocket recorder and record everything they say when you are around.

Frankly, I think your best bet is to have caller ID and not answer their calls and don't open your doors if they come a-callin'. Sounds like family reunions are out of the picture, too.

Just stay away from them. Thank goodness you're not legally bound to have a relationship with them. Just stay away. I was in the same situation. Notice I said WAS. Yeah, I just keep myself, and my family away from them, and haven't seen them in 2 years. Just cut the ties, and move on emotionally. You may have moments when you want to call, or stop by, but DON'T. In time you'll see that staying away is the best thing you could do for your family, and yourself. If they refuse to leave you alone then you'll have to take a legal recourse.

Just tell them that you want nothing to do with them and that if they ever come on your property you will have them arrested for trespassing.

So just don't have anything to do with them. If they show up at your place dial 911.

I don't understand, why do you have to be around them? If you don't, don't let them into your life.
