very cute, and a great way to connect her to your mother/hubby's mother.

Actually, Diana dosn't mean goddess. Diana was just the name of the Roman goddess of the moon... using the root of the name Diana, DianAngela would actually mean something more like 'heavenly angel' or 'divine angel'.

I don't really like the way DianAngela sounds, myself, but it seems like a few people disagree. Try to hang in there, though! The 21st is not THAT long away, though it can seem so in the last trimester.

I don't want to be too harsh, because you clearly are trying to honor the memory of your Mom and your MIL...but giving your daughter a name that will be a social anchor around her neck for her entire life is no way to do it.

Why not call her Diana Angela Venegas?

Or Angela Diana Venegas...they are both lovely names that will also work for her as an adult woman.

I agree, I was blessed with a name like Hugo and people have to ask me again because they think I said Rigo or Chino or something. I think going for a plain name like Diana Angela would be more appropriate. It doesn't sound bad, but you know your child is going make up a name of here own, and she'll probably choose between Diana or Angela.

Dianna Angellina Venegas somebody suggested and it sounds good.
Don't combine DianAngela...sounds almost like you are going to say something like Dia-bolo (devil) at the beginning instead of Dian.....

How about Diangela? Seems to flow a little more smoothly. When I was trying to decide on names for my daughters (D'Arcy Madison and Eos Elizabeth) I would practice "fussing" at them (calling their names as if they were getting in to something) just to see how easily it was spoken. Just a thought.

Since you asked I will tell you the truth. DianAngela is very strange. It doesn't sound right, it doesn't look right and your dtr will spend her whole life trying to help people spell and pronounce her name. Can't you seperate them and use Diane Angela as a first and second name?

It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but, the sentiment is lovely.
What about Dianna Angellina Venegas.

Sounds like a vegas showgirl name...But its cute idea to combine the names. Maybe make it should more like one name instead of two wedged together? Angiana?

The thought behind it is great.. but its a lot to say esp for a 4 year old learning to spell and everything. I would split it up. :)
