Earlier I asked a question about me not being able to pull my foreskin past the glans, and after looking at it as closely as I can, I'm almost positive that it is still attached. So, should I see a doctor? What kind of procedure will/should be done? Will my insurance cover this? Finally, what kind of doctor would I go to [I'm guessing a urologist, but I'm not sure]?

You should probably see a urologist, but it's possible your family doctor could help you. Don't be embarrassed - the doctor has seen it all before, many times.

You do NOT need to get circumcised for this - it's a routine procedure to free up the foreskin. Circumcision would be like whacking off your finger to cure a hangnail!

It is possible that your foreskin is still attached to the glans, but it's rare for someone your age. There is a simple procedure (don't know what it involves) where the doctor just separates the adhesions. I don't know if it's painful, but it's probably very uncomfortable during the procedure. A urologist is sure to be able to perform it, but a family doctor might be able to as well. I don't know if insurance covers it, ask your doctor. It might depend on the kind of insurance you have. (See first link, it's not exactly what you have, but it might be helpful.)

Also, if your foreskin is only attached to the glans by a strip of skin (sorta) along the bottom, that's normal. That's call the frenulum and in some people it might be so short that it's difficult to retract. (See second link for more info.)

How old are you? Everyone's foreskin is attached to their glans when they are born. Its not uncommon for it to remain attached until puberty.
