No, not at all. Many different kinds of people listen to rock music. I live by rock n' roll, and I am certainly not punk, by any means. A lot of people are ignorant, and go by only what they see around. Just because someone dresses a certain way doesn't mean anything. Don't be judgemental, and listen to whatever floats your boat!

No, it's not true! But rock music itself has always been associated with rebellion and getting away from the status quo. While some rock still promotes this in its lyrics, most modern music doesn't deal with such themes overtly. Besides, some messages are better conveyed through a hard guitar and drum beat - could you imagine a song venting anger through a soft pop melody?

Probably because they don't know what music is. Rap is not music and they can't help that they don't know the difference. To me, it is the punks that listen to rap.

Listen to whatever you like. rap is going away anyway. Have you ever noticed how many movies play oldie songs? Because they are good.

Listen to what you enjoy. Some of the best hip-hop songs have rock samples. Music shouldn't be limited to anyone.

Rock music making you look like a punk...ha!...That's so stupid.

Listen to whatever you like, dress how you like. Be who you are and if someone don't like it, F*** them.
