I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and today my cervical mucus has changed from a creamy bright white color to a creamy caramel color... what I want to know is- is this normal and why could this change have happened? I happen to have my OB apppointment on friday and will also ask my doctor, but would like others opinions before hand. Thanks!

Thanks everybody... went to the doctor today and everything was fine! Saw my little one squirming around and moving its arms and legs!

This is my third time being pregnant i have never had that happen before. sounds like you may have an infection. i would call my ob and see if they can take you in earlier. good luck

It is hard to say without actually seeing the color (not that I am asking to see it! LOL!). Are you sure there isn't some old blood tinged in it?? Brown spotting/blood isn't always something to worry about...it is more the brighter red/pink color.

If it isn't blood-tinged, I would at least mention it to my OB...but with so many changes happening, I wouldn't think it is a huge deal, otherwise:)

It sounds like you might just be spotting, which is normal. But I would definitely mention it to your OB over the phone and see if he/she wants to move up your appointment.

The color should be clear/white. Discoloration could indicate an infection. Since it is only Monday I would call the doctor's office and maybe they could move your appointment up a few days.

Well your progesterone level could be low, they gave me, a supplement. And i took it, my baby was healthy,

But i continued to have the brown dischage through out the prgnancy, until about 5 months

he was healthy tho.

Just fyi.
