I'm thinking they probably didn't. You have to remember... Porn stars are paid to have sex on camera...regular actors aren't. While filming, there are at least 20 people watching. Douglas and Stone aren't alone in that room, even though in the film it appears that they are.
Is it possible? Sure..I believe they were both single at the time. Is it likely, no.

I did hear however, that the film was going to be rated either X or NC17, but the director did remove something like one or one and a half minutes from the film. I would guess, it was a very intense scene, with alot of nudity.

No. Normal Hollywood movies don't have real sex. Bruce Dern claimed he and Maud Adams had real sex in Tattoo and Adams was enraged by the claim.

I don't know, but I can tell you about a film coming out soon in which all the actors are REALLY having sex. It's called 'Short Bus'. No kidding, they're really doing it.

No! How do you think they got an 'R' rating? If, there was any real sex in the movie, then, it would have gotten a 'X' or 'NC-17' rating.

Yes, and the aliens in Star Wars were real, too.

Yes. They do this a lot, but carefully set up the cameras to mask any evidence that it is other than very good acting.

Why do you people give thumbs down when you have never been to Hollywood, let alone on a closed set? Do you really think these people have any reservations about screwing each other if it's not on camera - believe me, I know better - been there, watched that.
