1-The tech bubble that had built up over the late ninety's had burst and an economy that was built up on paper and not in reality was stabilized by the actions of his administration.
2- After the attacks on Sept 11, Bush did the right thing by going after Al-qaida in Afghanistan. He effectively brought support from the rest of the world and showed strength when our enemies would liked to have seen weakness.
3-Brought the Christian right to the fore front of politics. Whether or not you agree with their beliefs and policies aren't you glad that you know about them now?
4-Showed that even old rich white men can trust people of other ethnicity's. Colin Powell, Condy Rice, Alberto Gonzales... wow one of those people are not only not white, but also not a man!
5-This is the biggie... Showed America that there is something wrong with our election system and the two party system. By winning in 2000 with out actually winning showes that we need to get rid of the electoral college and the bitter partisanship shows that two parties will not work in an country that is becoming increasingly diverse.

Your welcome

1 - Severely curtailed terrorism by reassembling the intelligence community that Clinton destroyed.

2 - Lowered taxes for EVERYONE.

3 - Made this country better for businesses so that they don't have to move jobs overseas. He lowered taxes for businesses as well.

4 - Severely curtailed terrorism by hitting them financially and making it harder for them to move money around. Terrorism takes a lot of money, and President Bush has made it harder for them to get it.

5 - Gave people faith in the integrity of the Presidency. He makes decisions and sticks to them. He doesn't decide what to do by sticking his finger into the wind and seeing what the public thinks should be done. The average citizen does not understand international politics nor how to run a country. Why the Democrats keep going to them for advice is a sign of how poor they are at their job.
