I have been told by my gyno that i have prolapse uterus thats why i have stress incontience. Now i was wondering is there anyone out there who had the same thing and had a hysterectomy and it cured the stress incontinence? Because thats what the doctor wants me to have done. If it don't help the incontinence i will just wait.

I had a prolapsed uterus and what it does is press on your bladder so your always feeling like you have to go. They put a netting inside me to keep my bladder from having that problem; that is why he probably wants to do the operation. Its not too bad I had no problems afterwards you just need to rest for about 3 months for full recovery. Talk to your gyn its something you need to do it not fun to have a prolapsed uterus.

The hysterectomy should help, if you have the surgery be sure to have the surgeon "tie" your bladder up to avoid future problems with it.
