I support Liverpool because:
1) I didn't want to support Chelsea, because they had just gotten back-to-back titles.
2) I didn't want to support Manchester United because it seemed very cliche as an American football/soccer fan.
3) There is something about Liverpool, the name, the colors, the name of the pitch that just grabbed my attention and I soon found myself supporting them.
I at first really really liked Chelsea because I liked to watch them, but I didn't want them to be my favorite club because of the reason above. I didn't want people to think I was a glory supporter. One person has accused me of being a glory supporter with Liverpool, but I'm not. I like the club, I like the feeling I get when I root for them. Plus, my favorite players are Michael Owen (used to play for them) and Steven Gerrard (still plays for them).

Borussia Dortmund aka BVB 09.
They are a great club with a tremendous history and tradition. BVB have won the German league and Champions League within the last decade. HUGE stadium, the Signal Iduna Park (2nd largest in Europe) and the best fans in the world!

Jets, Devils, Yankees, Knicks, UMich football, UNC/DUKE basketball
The Jets, Yankes and Knicks were all regional teams as I grew up in NY. My dad's second wife and kids were all from Michigan and as a child I watched the games with them. My dad lived in Carolina and I lived there for a minute as well and I had friends who attended all the tobacco road schools and got into the crazy b-ball rivalries there

Liverpool, because my brother has supported them and i grew up loving them so now im a huge fan.
AS Roma, because my favourite footballers play for them and they are so good!!

Some of them because they are from same town.I don't support from my town.I support 4 teams:Inter,Barcelona,Liverpool
and Schalke 04.I just love them i don't know why.
