Republicans and Democrats agree. that John Bolton has a habit of speaking with blunt force trauma. This speaking technique has a tendency NOT to work when employed as a diplomat.

because he is a fraud and to boot a complete ahole. the last thing we need is yet another george bush lapdog to prove to the rest of the world we think we are so much better than everyone else.

thank god some sensible politicians acted on this and stopped this loser from getting confirmed despite the best efforts of dubya.

now bolton will have more free time for those group circle jerks the cabinet holds in the white house.

Because they are afraid that Bolton hurt too many people's feelings when he told the truth. Maybe they don't want reform at the UN?

Because he had a long history of "Date Rape" When he worked out of the Manila office. He also has 17 untried cases of sexual discrimination.

I don't see that as a problem for Redpublicans. After all Newt Gingrich traded sex for grades when he was a liberal college professor. He had 11 documented affairs with students. And still passed the Red Congressional ethics Committee litmus test for closet pervert. ( a necessity for party leadership)

People thought he was a little too brash and confrontational with the UN, a perfect candidate if you ask me, but hey, I ain't in charge
