Definately, and I am a Bucks fan. Let's compare the two teams. They both had one loss. Florida lost to Auburn who was pretty decent but Michigan lost to Ohio State, who is #1 and playing in the Shoe. Oh, and they only lost BY 3 POINTS! Their schedules: sure you could argue that the SEC is the deepest conference, but Florida barely edged teams such as Florida State and Georgia, who were subpar this year. Michigan killed most of the teams they faced, who are in the Big Ten, which is a conference that you could argue is the best in the country. Not to mention that Michigan beat....no...CRUSHED Notre Dame at South Bend. Florida is garbage. Everyone will agree with me when they watch Florida lose by three or more TD's.

A lot of folks simply just don't want a rematch and feel that Michigan already had their opportunity. Maybe Florida and Michigan should just play each other and see who deserves it the most but that's not about to happen. I think there should be a 4-8 team tournament and then crown the National Champion in a true title game. Several teams had one loss this year so it's a mater of opinion only which team is better or more deserving.

Playing two games after Michigan was done was the only reason Florida had a chance. Michigan lost to #1 Ohio State by 3 points in their only loss. Florida lost by 10 #11 Auburn by 10. I know there are other factors, but Michigan got screwed because they have already played. I know many people don't want to see a rematch, but the point of the system is for the top two teams to play. It's not perfect, but I just don't understand how Florida is above Michigan other than eliminating a rematch.

Michigan was completely ROBBED!!!
The first answer in this question is completely off. OSU beat them by 3 POINTS, they didn't kick their butts. The only reason it's UF, is because they had a hard schedule, they played 2 more games, they won their conference and people don't want a rematch. But, UF will get CRUSHED by OSU, while Michigan lost by a mere 3 points, and the game was at Ohio State. The fact that Michigan lost their conference means nothing, because guess who they lost it to: Ohio State. Florida played 2 more games because their conference has a conference championship. You can't penalize Michigan because there's no conference championship! The only one that makes sense is that Florida had a harder schedule. But still, after all those reasons, it should definitely be Michigan vs. Ohio State.

No florida did not need to be there. Boise State did. somewhat very last 365 days replaced right into a down 365 days for all of school football. OSU lost 5 first round draft options, now to not indicate some more advantageous good later round options. Texas wasn't a similar without VY. USC lost a NFL crew to the pros. The SEC had some good communities, LSU and obviously Florida come to ideas. Wasn't ever offered on arkansas or auburn. ninety 9 out of one hundred situations i'm hostile to a playoff, yet very last 365 days ought to were exciting. absolutely everyone of 16 communities ought to have gained it, which include florida. I even haven't any situation with florida taking section in interior the nationwide championship recreation, yet what I had a situation including his them affirming a michigan rematch must be thoroughly out of line, even as they were given a rematch to win their first nationwide championship. There might want to by no skill be a rematch for a nationwide championship. They crew that replaced into beat virtually continuously wins, because the emotion isn't there for the winning crew.

It seems to me that the only argument for Michigan is that they lost by only three points to the number 1 team. Yeah, Ohio State was, and is, the consensus #1, but what makes them so good that a loss to them should be excused. So what if they kept within three points. Illinois, a 2-10 team, only lost by a touchdown to OSU. If a team whose only Division 1 win was against Michigan State can stay within a touchdown of OSU, I don't think Michigan should be given a rematch for keeping the game to 3 points.
Also, if the common pro-Michigan argument is that they only lost by 3 on the road to OSU, then where was all this controversy last week. USC was ranked #2, and they lost to unranked Oregon State. By the logic of Michigan fans, USC should have been #3 last week. Sure there was some protest, but not nearly as much as now, when SEC Champion Florida jumps a team that lost its last game.

Michigan has already had their shot at Ohio State and lost. Overall, Florida has a more impressive body of work in the regular season going 3-1 against currently ranked opponents while Michigan only played 3 games and went 2-1. They weren't robbed, simply, they were outplayed.

Wah wah wah. Hey blue fans, why don't you start putting some facts behind your crying? All you do is complain, but it's clear you have absolutely nothing to back it. Get a quality win and then we'll talk. Hey, did you guys beat OSU? Oh wait, you didn't. I hope everything works out for you in the Rose Bowl as it did in Columbus. Give you a little hope and crush it.

As a hard-core U of M fan I'm ready to rally troops and find the BCS mainframe and turn it into a smoking pile. It doesnt really matter though U of F is going to be disgraced by Ohio, there's no way they'll finish within 3 pts. And Michigan will smoke UCS like an over-rated blunt.
