I have a room that has no vents for GFA. The baseboard heater was professionally installed to the circuit breaker and has a thermostat hooked up. Can I leave for work with this heater on low so it doesn't take three hours to heat the room after work? Is that safe?

Yes of course you can. The electric baseboard heaters are relatively safe, the element doesn't heat up to a red hot level.
As with any appliance make some common sense decisions when ever you choose to run it. Don't allow clothes or other potentially combustible material to pile up against it or come in contact with the unit and you will be fine.

cut the thermostat back so that your electric bill wont be too high. if i were you i would buy a oil filled radiator or a bottled gas heater for that room. baseboard heat is really expensive

Based on the fact that you had it done professionally and it's on a circuit breaker and has a thermostat, I would say Yes you can.

Should be OK as long as you keep everything away from it including draperies.
