My friend hasnt got a home phone line but wants broadband, what is the cheapest way of doing it? Has anyone gone through Talk Talk?

there are some companies that offer a sattelite broadband service but purchase of the equipment and connection charges can be very high, also the speed isnt great. otherwise you will need a phone line. you can google for sattelite broadband suppliers

You wait forever with Talk Talk. I got a line and broadband (2mb) from Toucan in 1 week, and I can't fault them, Good for £24 pm. You got to have a land line, nothing else is worth the bother, nothing else is reliable. (Toucan: 0800 0613 612).

av gt talk talk its 22pound a month for broad band and phone calls to landlines anytime u pay a one off 30pound payment 2 its cheap www.talktalk.co.uk
