You don't mention your age, but I am guessing you would still be able to go into the Federal system. Border Patrol, Dept. of Agriculture, Homeland Security. Otherwise, private security firms (not the rent a cop ones) have contracts that involve the necessity of dog handlers. Then you can always look into State and local police departments

You could go to a police academy, then get into a K-9 unit on a police dept. I think that would be a great fit.
Otherwise maybe become some sort of dog trainer.

Probably with some police force or something would be most similar to what you do now... I know people pay to have their dogs walked...you might not be so interested in that, you could also probably get a job with animal control...
