Ok, so you must be a thrifty 13 year old, getting started on the college fund, huh? Some ideas.... hmmmmm...

There's baby sitting, you can type (TYPE not DO) other people's school papers, since it's winter time - sell popsicles (like a lemonade stand. A bag of popsicles cost $1.50 or so, with about 18 in each bag. You can sell them for like 50 cents each, and make $9 bucks a bag), charge $15 for shoveling snow off of sidewalks and driveways (this is hard work, trust me, someone will pay you to do this.) after you make a little money doing that, buy you a bag of sidewalk salt, and then charge $5 more for salting the sidewalk (so a total job will cost $20) -

Well, at 13, you're not really supposed to be making money. The only way I can see you making any money is maybe babysitting (not a baby, but maybe a child over 5 or something), cutting the grass or something like that. If you know any elderly people in your neighborhood, they sometimes really appreciate help doing things that they can't do themselves anymore (washing dishes, folding clothes, etc.) But 13 may be a little young for that too. And you certainly can't expect a real job. Maybe your parents will give you an allowance if you do extra chores around the house. Or if you know how to do something really creative (like make jewelry), you can sell your services.

Offer to help out elderly people in your neighborhood with outside chores. If you live where it snows, you can make some money shoveling people's driveways. Ask your parents if there are any household chores they would be willing to pay you for. Hope this helps! : )
