ok let me understand you . you have two trees up in your home now one is for this year 2006 and the other is for the next year xmas 2007 why not just leave the 2006 tree up year round

Ok, but, if enough people did what you are suggesting, it would makes sales higher this year and likely lead to overstock next year when people don't buy as much. When the retailers lose money, that means investors lose money, and that hurts our economy. Also, the retailers will likely just raise their overall prices, which means you and I pay more for everything.
