The Laws of Attraction state clearly that opposites attract!(imagine even the ugliest chick or dude you know and the two of u r marooned on a far away Island wouldnt you be attracted to one another..?) So they has to be some kind of attraction between genuine male and female.. Now if a girl and a guy are just friends thats a case to ask...One of the two has feelings for the other, but maybe afraid or not know how to express this feeling to the 'friend'! Wait until you are marooned...............

Don't see why not. Two of my best friends are boys. One has said several times that he doesn't think of any of his female friends (and there are a lot of us) that way. I see him as a brother.

I can see where it'd get complicated - I've been there. The guy was completely clueless; I think he saw me as one of the lads. The friendship did not last.

Some people are really immature and think that the only way a boy could ever be just friends with a girl is because he's interested in her, but that's daft.

There's nothing wrong with having a male as a friend! I have a best male friend that I've known since elementary school and wer're okay with it! Long as you're there for each other, then the friendship will definitely be worth it.

yes- my two best friends of whom i've known since school are both male and we got along great back when we were kids. we've known each other for say 17/ 18 years and alas, we still keep in touch to this day. and i for one have never been the slightest bit attracted to them. other than our relationship/ friendship was, has been and will always be entirely platonic

I am not too sure, I was seeing someone who dumped me then kept getting in touch with me, I asked him what he wanted from me and he said that he just wanted to be friends! No, more like he wanted to have his cake and eat it. I couldn't handle it and broke off all communications with him. It depends on the person and the situation I suppose. Give it a try, what have you got to loose!?

Not "just" friends, no... At some point or another one will have liked the other in a way that is more than just friends, but that can pass without being acted upon, or they'll have kissed or slept together. But then it passes and what's left is a friendship...

i think of there's a distinction between sexual emotions and females only take place to be there and sexual emotions for some one. maximum adult males have particularly severe intercourse drives and there are no sexual emotions related. There are only sexual emotions and a guy or woman they desire would be on the receiving end. yet attachment? that's yet another situation, thoroughly. adult males experience sexual or attractive. eye-catching female walks by employing. accident, no longer something extra. The sexual emotions are no longer related to the lady, they're related to the guy. completely.

Yes, but one or the other may have some extra feelings somewhere along the line! Everyone can be 'just' friends though :o)

Of course they can. One of my best friends is male, he is like a brother to me. Even though i don't see him very often, i still regard him as my brother. I have had other fantastic male frineds too, and nope, it's nothing to do with thier looks at all. My partner has had best female friends too.
