The AD_Link cable that comes with the Sound Blaster Audigy 4 is one part firewire and one part something else. I need to find out what that other cable is. The cable that came with it is not long enough and Create Labs "can't" make a longer one for me or provide me with some sort of coupler to connect two together. Does anyone know what kind of cable this is and/or where I can find a longer one or a coupler. Thanks.

There is a good chance that the other part of this cable is nothing more than the one to connect the sound card to a CD-ROM. If that is the case it will have a small white connector on one end with 4 tiny holes. The opposite end will have a retaining clip and be a little wider, and very narrow. Any reputable computer shop should have a ton of these in their back room of varying lengths. Hope this helps

What is the Audigy card do you have?

You can try contacting Blackbox www.blackbox.com to fabricate a cable. It will probably be expensive though.

There isn't a lot of information on this cable and without a picture it's hard to tell you where to look. Typical manufacturers.
