Wipe everything with the 3-step method and air dry. Wash soft toys in the laundry. Wash other toys (small plastic toys, rattles, teethers) in a mesh laundry bag in the dishwasher.

The 3-step method is spray with soapy water rinse with water, then sanitize with bleach water.

Clorox has come out with a new spray that the advertise as being safe to use near/around children. It disinfects and works really well on toys and would probably work well on the crib itself. Here is the link from Clorox, I've used it to disinfect everything recently since we all just got over the flu.

Lysol works as well but it stinks! This doesn't leave behind an odor, I always hated using Lysol spray because of the smell, and it tends to linger for a while as well.

I would say lysol but the problem with lysol is you have to rinse it all off before baby touches it. It is not safe to ingest. I am a frequent user of Lysol and love it. But for an 11 month old I would try Clorox Anywhere spray. It is safe to use on all of baby's surfaces with no risks of illness if ingested (of course I do not recommend drinking it though). On other surfaces such as baby's crib use lysol because sheets will cover it.

Get a can of Lysol spray. Run all blankets and sheets through the washer and dryer. Bath toys...if he had a bath while sick can be run through the dishwasher on the top rack. I have my son's bath toys in a mesh bag and run the whole thing through at least once a month so they don't get musty.

A disinfectent cleaner & then air out. Toys can be washed in the washing machine or in the sink with an anti-bacterial soap or regular laundry soap.

what i do is wash all the bedding in hot water. and as for the toys, i clean them with hot water and soap and a little bleach. if you use bleach just make sure to rinse them off really well. stuffed animals that she had played with also go in the washer with hot water.

Lysol wipes will do it! They kill 99% of germs and are harmless to your baby when she puts something in her mouth! Remember that hand washing is also crucial to stop the spreading of germs.

You can buy Lyson disenfectant wipes and use them on everything.

My husband and son just got over some stomache bug and I hit everything with it. Don't forget doorknobs, bathroom sinks and other well-travelled areas.
