Yes.. i won £5000's worth of holiday vouchers in September 06... on an online travel website. I shared it with my mother and brother and booked a holiday to the Caribbean for them for Feb 07, which she subsequently said she would not go on.. so I lost £2k out of the £5k as the holiday is non transferable and non-refundable...
I won't forgive her for this as I had never won anything in my life up until this time.. If you have won something my advice is to keep it for yourself!!
My advice is to visit the website Loquax which runs lots of comps .. it is a UK company if you are based here!

This year I've won 3 competitions, all text to win, first was a £600 camera, then a beer festival ticket, then last month a £450 bike, all were in the London Evening Standard.

I've won loads. I love comping. Most recently, I won tickets to the Miss Potter premiere which I went to yesterday. Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor were there. I've also won tickets to the musical Wicked. The best one was probably winning 5k in The Sun. I'm still working on the holiday and car though.

I was reading a magazine,and they showed a picture of Louis Walsh with Shayne Ward,and asked What song is Louis Walsh singing? I emailed 'My Dingaling' by Chuck Berry just for a laugh-and next thing I know,I've won a mobile phone with mp3 player!! It said nothing about it being a competition or there being prizes-so it was a great surprise!!

Yeh, won loads... exercise equipment, trip to Rome, loads of DVD's, small cash wins....
Like they say, you gotta be in it to win it!
If you got the time, use a competition site, set up an email account you don't mind getting spammed on, and enter as many as you can fit in the day!

i have won a couple of competitions on my local radio station like for cds and meet and greets etc, nothing major, usually answering questions, oooh my boyfriend got 4 numbers on the lottery
