Being silly apart, if we do have to have a " royal " family, why cant they be english?....there are lots of real english people, those freeloaders are german!!!!!

Hmm, Freeloaders is not quite right, yes they DO take money from the public purse BUT what is rarely mentioned is that the Queen pays back VASTLY more than that each year from her private land / property investments.
The country makes money from Bet than her family take from the country.

The royal family is still English, though, they are just of German descent.
That's like saying I am Irish when I'm American.
