Just wondering how fast food can be so "well known"..

for that same reason ... because supposedly it is fast, because they
present/display complete packages to us with which we must be left
plenty and competitive prices from the restaurants that
are buffets or gourmet food ... also use many attractive colors that causes hunger like the red one, yellow, green....
I think that's part ....but also marketing strategy is really constant...

There are countless commercials, people talk about them a lot, and there are so many fast-food restaurants
