Other men at my gym walk around naked but I don't know if it's okay?

It is really the ONLY place where men can be without being so concerned about clothing. Do what you feel is normal. Some guys wear a towel back and forth to the shower, others couldn't care less. However, it is polite to wear one while shaving at the sink as other guys have to stand there and use the same sink later .

Go with the flow. If the tendency for the gym population is to go bare, and you feel comfortable, do it. Only the prudes and homophobes would say otherwise. I went to one gym where everyone wore towels out of the showers, and each of the showers had curtains. You only dropped the towel to put on your underwear. There were a couple of guys who walked around naked, but they were the exception. Kinda like going to a public pool and using the locker rooms.
I later went to the Y, and found that it was the norm to strip as soon as you were in the locker room. The sauna, hot tub, steam room--all were used bare-butted, they gave us little towels to sit on. Not strange at all, since everyone did it. We all sat watching TV in the buff, in the mornings while cooling off from the steam or sauna. Showers were communal, so everyone saw everyone, especially the pole showers where you got close and personal. I traveled a lot, and while I had a Y membership, I visited several across the country--nude is the norm in the Y; loved the freedom. The Morality Police have made it almost impossible anymore for guys to just naturally let it hang out, the Y is a great haven for guys. Note that boys under 16 were not allowed in the Mens locker room.
Never heard any bad or inappropriate comments at the Y.
I do agree with the towel at the sink, to shave, most guys don't want to bump up against where you have been.

Do whatever feels comfortable,as long as it is not offensive to others.I see absolutely no problem with nudity.We are not all built the same,some are bigger and some are smaller and those who see shame in the naked body are just relics from a restrictive,prudish Victorian era where even piano and furniture legs had to be covered.It's a gym for Christs sake not a function for morning suit and bow tie.

Well, i could careless if the worl wore no clothes at all. Just like the indians. People need to learn to respect your body and not make judgements about. Because we all have a body! I am in the 8th grade and we have to take showers after gym, so we all walk around naked and we really could careless about it! I DO TOO! It doesn't matter, when you get older, people with stop noticing that you are naked in the locker room and if they think its funny, they probally wont talk about it or laugh allowed, they are probally are older and more respectful about it. Well, they will just pass it and probally dont even think or talk about it, they are probally naked too!

I guess if other guys in your gym are doing it, and if it doesn't bother anyone else-- although if you are around anyone who feels uncomfortable and/or women who feel uncomfortable then put on a towel.

Well it depend to the personality choice.If U comfortable while walking in nude just do it.But might someones out there can't stand for that while seeing somebody walk around in nude.Just respect to another feeling.That I'm call O.K.By the way,I'm think it O.K.to be that way.I'm usually walk in naked in the changing room too.

You will notice that it is useally the older men walking around naked. This is because as you get older you start to care less what others are going to think or say about you. I noticed that as I get older I start doing what is easier. So yeah, its ok just dont prance around in the locker room.

General rule put on a towel some men may not be bothered but others would without a towel around your waist thank you

Put on a towel. Do it for the sake of the other guys that don't want to see you.
As for the other guys, it's not ok. Do you really enjoy seeing fat middle aged men walk around nude?

Ither way it dosent matter.
I had to do thoat in jr.high in gym too, all the guys laughed about taking the one private shower (normaly for people with injuries) but no one followed through with it. My way of thinking who cares.
