no he wasn't the professors assistant. He was the radio dj... not wallace's roommate but the one that did his show at night.

He's Logan's friend who Veronica provides an alibi for during the rapes. He was a dj at a radio show during the times of the rapes, but Veronica figured out that it was all taped. He also operated a campus casino which Logan frequented.
