As you may know, Mario and Luigi are the main characters in the Mario Bros. videogame series. Now, I would hold that since Mario is short and chunky, not to mention he wears red (like tomato sauce, Rome's colors, and pepperonis), he is definitely more of a greasy wop.

My friend thinks that, because he is taller and thinner and seems like he puts more grease-ball gel in his hair, he is more of a wop.

What do you think? Mario or Luigi?

For those who don't know, "wop" is the English bastardization of the Ital-Neapolitan word “GUAPPO”. The word refers to those who belong to the Guapperia o “Camorra”, a criminal organization similar to the Sicilian Mafia located mostly in the province of Campania (an Italian Province) and its capital Napoli, Italia.

In America, it is used to refer to most anyone of Italian descent or nationality. The term offends some people, generally those lacking a thick skin.

Second bit should read:
My friend thinks that, because he is taller and thinner and seems like he puts more grease-ball gel in his hair, Luigi is more of a wop.

haha wop....*uckin hilarious. And I am allowed to laugh because I am part Italian.

My thinking is Luigi. Mario, although short and stout, his name doesnt sound officially Italian. I know Mario can also be used in Hispanic community.

Luigi is pure Italian. Plus I like the color green, so he is my pick.

Luigi. To boot, Daisy seems like more of a mob wife than Peach.
