My car runs very well however started to clunk heavy to the right hand side. This has never happened before. I have never had any bother with my before. took it to the garage who said CV joint (overshaft) needs done this cost me a fortune. However since i got the car back it has been chugging very very bad as if it is the wrong petrol that in it or the timing is out. The car seems as if it wants to stop at any time. Another garage told me today that it may be the coil as all technical tests were coming back fine. Though someone else said that these cars dont have a coil. This is worrying me as i travel a lot 2 work on my own and cant seem to get a mechanic who gives me the same story.Does anyone know if getting the cv joint done could make my car chug very bad as if it does i will take it back but need to know what i am asking of them.I dont want 2 be silly and take back incase is nothing to do with it though it is strange that it has only occurred since they tried 2 fix it
