Oh, the old debate! I use a Palm TX myself, but there are advantages to both.

Palm OS: Crashes much less, can run NES games if you put LJP on it, generally cheaper, but still high quality (Except the Z22), will become partially open-source and much more stable when Palm OS's successor (ALP) comes out, Palm Desktop

Windows Mobile: More powerful, able to surf the web much better, more manufacturers to choose from

This debate seems to point toward Palm OS, but it's your choice! Remember both have lots of free programs available and double as media players!

Oh, if you use a Mac, Palms are easier to get running in Macs (I don't really use the Mac though. I'm a PC user in a land of Macs)

Palm - better memory management, fewer crashes, more low cost or free software. Test this out your self do an internet search on 'Free Palm software' and then 'Free Windows Mobile software'

it depends on the user.. some preach the gospel of the palm... then others say uh uh pocket pc is the way to go or no way at all.

find out yourself.. maybe check out your buds who have both and see how it feels for ya.. i'm sure they won't mind you taking a test drive.

:D
