I have natural auburn hair and brown eyes and the best eyeshadow is what you already said... purple and brown.

It makes the eyes pop out. Cover the top of you eyelid up to your brows with a light creamy beige and then use purple eyeliner. Cover the bottom of you lid with a soft muave purple and fill the crease in with brown. Then, take a soft brush and blend it very well. Use brown/black mascara and cover the entire top and bottom lashes. If you want to add some drama use a little of the purple eyeliner under the bottom of your lower lash.

For evenings try black eyeliner pencil... not liquid. And a darker purple.

I have auburn hair also and I wear a sand color ion my upper brow area, taupe to an ashy brown on my lid and a dark brick color in the crease. I've wore this for a long time and haven't tired of it yet.

ok i would a light light brown that goes all the way up to your eyebrows. then a darker but not too dark of a green in the crases. then a darker green/brown on the rest of your eyes. then use black liquid eyeliner on the top lashes and black pencil liner under the bottom. itll look great!

yeah i think green would look good on u... blues also. maybe even creams, like white/goldish colors to make your eyes stand out, and then add a green, brown OR purple tint to the crease to create depth. then use some dark green, purple, brown, or BLACK liner to upper lash line.... use the goldish/white shadow on Lower lash line, and add mascara to top lashes! :)
