Does anyone know how to make a cute Christmas Tree ornament that is cute and original?

I need some ideas for some Christmas tree ornaments that are moderately easy so make and look cute and original.

If someone else gives you the idea, can it still be considered original? I really like crocheted decorations. Very country Christmas feeling (angels, santa, reindeer, candycanes, snowflakes, etc.).
