It happens to me sometimes too. The only time it seems to happen is if I have the kitchen windows open and it's windy out. The wind tends to blow out the pilot light. Keep an eye on it it can be very dangerous in the winter time if gas can build up in your kitchen and all doors/windows are closed.

It is a clogged gas flue (the small piece of aluminum pipe that the gas flows through) make sure it's cool, then run a small wire brush inside of it to get the residue out.Then,re-light the pilot.Should be good now! Good luck!

If cleaning the gas flue doesn't help solve your problem you may need to buy a new thermo coupler for it. You can buy universal thermo couplers at your local plumbing and heating stores.
