As you can see, depending on where you are located the prices can vary. Also plugging a tire is much cheaper than patching. I know that Kauffman Tire will plug them for free. If you have that chain of tire stores in your area. If you want a patch instead of a plug you will have to pay. More labor is involved in patching. The tire actually has to come off of the wheel. This takes shop space and time and you will have to pay for that. Lat I checked in my area it was about $15.
You really just need to cal a few shops near you and ask. It cannot cost too much no matter where you are though. It will be cheaper than a new tire and a patch is a better repair than a plug.

A tire plug around $10 a good patch ( they have to remove the tire from the rim) $25

If it's a nail or scrw, you can buy the kit at a parts store and fix it yourself. I've done many and never had one fail.
