Up to 3 days before and sometimes during my period. I call it my "monthly migraine". I find that if I eat chocolate around this time then I will almost always get a viscious headache. Tylenol 3's and Gravol are the typical med's I'll try. I find that heat makes my headaches worse but ice packs really help (you can buy really long gel packs that fit in a cloth sleave to wrap around your forehead and back of the neck - it looks totally goofy but once the headache reaches a certain poiint, I no longer care how it looks!). With some experimenting you'll find what helps the most. Good Luck.

We females are all human and experience everything differently.

All women do not have hormone headaches.

I always used Hot towels on my face and the back of my neck and it improved the pain greatly. I just got sick of being on Pain meds.

Take a hand towel and dampen it, heat it in the microwave for 40 seconds, lay down on the sofa and place the hot, wet towel on your face, heat again and do it on the back of your neck.

600 milligrams of Motrin. That's what works for me! I have to have a prescription for migraines, though, so I don't know about you.
