Most people who act that way are really insecure and self-conscious. They don't usually get respect at home so they try to get it everywhere else. (They are control freaks). Laugh because inside that person is scared to death. Besides, if you keep quiet and observe, you'll get to witness them being knocked off of that pedestal.........P.S. I love this quote: "People only make us feel inferior if we let them." Just smile and laugh. It is coming!!!!!!!!!!!1

Perhaps they dont even realize what they're doing/saying. Maybe you can make light of it by blessing yourself, or kneeling or bowing, when this person speaks........Hopefully it will make them realize how they're coming across to you, and perhaps you'll both be able to laugh about it.
