Why is it that a man can be so hot and cold towards a woman? My best friend has this man who sometimes flirts with her and talks sexual and other times is not so flirty and more distant. Why does he do that? He also is married but was separated before and had issues in his marriage I guess.

My gf told me that he looks like he wants more even when he doesn't really flirt but she doesn't know why he keeps going back and forth. I would like some other opinions. Thanks!

He wants to make sure he's not constantly flirting and make her irritated if she doesn't like it. Chances are he's not sure his flirting is ok so he only does it sometimes to "test the waters."

Maybe he's getting irregular feedback from her too.

No, i don't believe of i visit flirt with someone i'm no longer in contact in! it is unnecessary and a waste of time. perhaps somebody else might want to if he's hoping for further, even if he's completely being attracted or no longer, each so often, you're in contact contained in the action itself quite than outdoors attractiveness.

I sounds to me like he is just trying to feel her out by saying this and that. Being that he is married and/or if they work together he is being somewhat careful.

What I mean by careful, he could be throwing little things out there and is leaving the ball in her hands to take things to the next level. If there is such thing as an expert flirt, they know when to turn it on and off.

I hope you don't think all men are like that. I mean, it's not fair to judge the rest of us based on one man. Especially one that is MARRIED! The fact that he's married should've given you some clue as to why you formulated your opinion. With regards as to why THIS particular man acts this way, well for one HE'S MARRIED!, and two, the fact that he's married is obviously causing some sort of struggle within him. How can you possibly expect any kind of consistency with this guy, given the situation he's in.

Its because he is married and is having two sides control his feelings.

I bet you 100%, he is still trying to decide what he wants to do with himself, especially since he is still married.

And I would suggest to your friend for her to leave him alone, and to not give him any mixed feelings in return. Its not a good idea to mess with a married man whom is not emotionally stable.

in this sense men are not too different from women, - women do the same thing. You can stand around all day and try to 2nd guess what someone is thinking, yet, if you really ant to know, ask them and others who know them so you can put your mind at ease.
