Would you bend down and pick up a penny if you see it on the road?

When would you bend over and pick up. 5, 10, 25 cents?

Pennies, they say are from your loved ones who have passed away. They also say that it is from your guardian angel. Every time I pick up a penny I think of my father who passed on 16 years ago. He always told me not to throw money away, so when people drop pennies or any denomination of change or what have you I always pick it up, and say "yes daddy, I'm picking it up and saving it for a rainy day". His other saying to me was "A penny saved is a penny earned". The best places I have found that change is around are gas stations, truck stops, airports, etc. The last time I went out on the road with my husband, I found a $20 bill. That made my day.

Last time I bent over to pick up money, it was a $20 in the road. No offense to Abe Lincoln, but for a penny? I'd leave it there.

I would. My mother used to tell me that someone in heaven is saying hello by leaving a penny (or any coin) in your path. My mother has been gone now for many years, so when I pick up a coin, it makes me think of her.

yes, I pick up any money I see, heads or tails. I picked up a ten dollar bill last week. that was nice.
