can you use itunes for any mp3 player (not including the ipod)?

Like if I buy a movie or music video does that go to the itunes library. Then would i be able to transer the videos and stuff to any mp3 player (that plays video.) Would i also be able to transfer music from Itunes to any mp3?

you can but i wouldn't use itunes for it is a rip off.
