I am looking to buy a new vacuum and I was thinking about purchasing the Dyson Animal but don't really want to spend that much money, $499.99 retail price. I need a vacuum that can pick up pet hair well and that basically has good suction or possibly one with some kind of HEPA filter. Anybody know the best vacuum that I would be able to get for under $200.00?

Good luck finding a good vacume for under 200 bucks. I had to go ahead and spluge and spend 500 bucks on mine because I could not find a cheap one that worked well. You can try the bargain finder if that helps.

The best vacuum ever is a Sanitaire by Eureka! I have 4 cats and a dog so I swear by it. They can be expensive but you won't have to replace it for decades! Really...I have had the same vacuum forever!
