my "demonic" i mean not someone who seems to advertise satan. have you ever seen Slipknot? whats with the goulish masks? they decorate their drums with that satanic star and wear them as patches on their coats. that just freaks me out.

not my cup of tea really but i'll try, fyi you want "non demonic" with "no screaming" then you should find a different genre.
zao is a christain band, lots of screaming though, one of the heaviest metal bands out there. the same goes for Norma Jean.
what do you care about demonic, you have papa roach on your list, they just did a record claiming to have "made love to a ghost while recording" go listen to some pantera, some smashing pumpkins, some killswitch engage, metallica, godhead, marilyn manson, disturbed, static x, chevelle, mushroomhead, nothingface, rage against the machine, dry kill logic, poison the well, arch enemy, at the gates, mastodon, machine head, sepultura, lamb of god, hatebreed, then we'll talk.

have you given nirvana a whirl yet?
i would assume yes,

you should also look into marilyn manson, a little demonic, but still the music will really get you going.
