Yes. But with any other race it would be deemed "cultural enlightenment".

That is so weird that you asked this question because I thought of the exact same thing the other day. Anyway, you bet it would be seen as racist even though it is not different than BET. Any time that anybody is proud to be white they are racist. You can be proud to be any other color, but if you are white you automatically get labeled racist. So who's the real racist? I don't have a problem with BET being on TV, but I imagine that WET would be a huge no no.

We don't need a white entertainment channel because we dominate television anyway. Anyway, because of the double standard, yes it would be racism.

So true! It shouldn't be considered racism,...but we all know it would be considered that by the blacks. They holler racism for everything else I am sure they would for having a white entertainment television show!

Since pretty much the majority of entertainment in the United States is controlled by white people, why would you need one?

Yes, just like if there was a white history month or if we marched in a white pride parade or got hired because we were white. It's a double standard with which we have to live with.

It probably be construed that way, most people don't realize that racism can go both ways (and does).

Just like if someone wanted to start a NAAWP (instead of the NAACP). Jesse Jackson would be all over that!
