According to their Live Shows, They are up there as the Best. Along Led Zeppelin & U2.

Nobody comes close preforming Live. Not even the Rolling Stones (every tour they use more fireworks to fill the blanks)

When It comes to Studio Recordings they were amazing, 4 member writing songs with different rhythms and tempos (Taylor wrote the Rocker ones, DEacon the Funky Ones, May got the complicated ones and Mercury made the Beautiful ones).

But The Lack of impact (as usual) in the USA for their 80's and 90's albums made a hole very noticiable in their career.

I Do like Them a lot, though my Favourite Band Is U2.

It's impossible to define the greatest band of all time. If anyone came close, it would have to be Led Zeppelin. Queen is right up there with the greats, though. That's one band I am sad that I'll never get the chance to hear live.

Definately top ten. Not so sure about being the best.

I'd rank The Rolling Stones and The Beatles higher than Queen.

I agree with baby's mom categorization. Personally, I think Queen was a great band, but the Beatles were the greatest!

Close, but the Beatles are pretty much the best ever, aren´t they?
Nevertheless, QUEEN is amazingly great and I can´t get tired of listening to them. Long live the Queen!

I would say no. But I will say this. Brian May was one hell of a guitarist. And Freddie Mercury was arguably the best live performer in rock ever. To say that the man knew how to put on a show would be an understatement.

I think they are right up at the top. With Dire Straits and the Eagles. I also like Ah-ha. They were great! Love that happy sounding stuff with some rhythm.

this is a stupid question, a question for a person who loves to argue, and it can not be answered this simple, in your opinion probably so, in mine no, in the next guys i have no clue, when you ask a question about preference it's so dumb, it's like talking about vintage wine, there will allways be multiple opinions becasue of different tastebuds, and it's the same with music.

They're good, but they aren't the greatest.
