I am setting up my home computer and I am the Admin. How can I restrict the limited accounts from viewing inapproriate material on the web. I used the content advisor but that only helps to an extent. I want them to be completely restricted. I know it sounds mean, but I have a 3 year old in the house.

there is a plethora of web assistance programs that will limit the sites that you determine are inappropriate for your children with out limiting the access to the web that you may desire.

Net nanny, Cyber surf, BEAR, etc...

there is also an option on the IE that you can restrict to only certain web sites, this is viable untill the child figures out how to change the settings,,

also IP's like AOL and MSN have built in parental controls and they are simple to use.

good luck

I use a combination of items including content advisor.

First, when my seven-year-old logs in, he cannot access the internet; his group is one that cannot access the require items.

Next, my router has built-in items including url and address filtering. I've blocked certain URLs and IP addresses that I don't want them going to. The router also only allows connection to the internet at certain times - times when I know I'm home and can watch.

I've tried NetNanny a while ago but it didn't work they way I wanted. Maybe it does not and I should give it another try - it had some features that I really wanted.
