It is more socially acceptable for a woman to be lesbian or bi than a guy. As a result, they tend to accept it more easily, for they aren't shunned as much as men for the same thing.
That doesn't mean it's a choice, only that they can accept it easier.

I think so. My sense is that anti-gay girls are typically religious nutters. Guys, on the other hand, can and often do have an innate insecurity about their own sexuality and masculinity that shows up as an anti-gay attitude (in addition to men also being religious nutters.)

No, I think if you're a guy, the idea of a guy liking you is gross (if you're straight), and I think it's just the same for women with regards to lesbians. I'd prefer to work with a gay guy, than with a lesbian, lesbians gross me out - sorry, just the way I feel - it's nothing to do with religion, just gives me the creeps to think a woman could be attracted to me that way - yuk!!!!!!

in some instances they are more open to come out then men 1 because it is more acceptable in society for women to be homosexual or bi
